Dr. Zhuang received her PhD from University of Scienceand Technology of China in 2008. From 2008 to 2011, she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Arizona State University. Early in 2011, she joined the Key Laboratory for Micro-Nano Physics and Technology of Hunan Province in Hunan Univerisity as an Associate Professor. She was promoted as a professor in 2016. She was funded by NSF projects in 2012, 2014 and 2016. She was awarded by the Education Ministry's New Century Excellent Talents Supporting Plan in 2013. Her current research interests lie in the synthesis and optical properties of semiconductor nanostructures.
